Stephen Davan is a designer based in New York City, specializing in scenic design for theater and television. Employing his skills in model building, graphic design, drafting, and illustration, Stephen has worked as an associate & assistant designer on shows including the upcoming world tour of The Phantom of the Opera, the Broadway productions of Angels in America, Disney’s Frozen, Bright Star, Pippin, and Betrayal, and for television, NBC’s Maya & Marty.


Stephen is a graduate of Columbia University, where he studied architecture and history and designed two installments of The Varsity Show, Columbia’s oldest theatrical tradition.


Creative turn-ons include theme park design, storybook illustration, old movies, Christmas.
